The objective of this project is to create a user-friendly mobile app version of the existing platform, enhancing accessibility and engagement for users. The app should mirror the functionality of the web platform, allowing users to easily browse, apply for, and track various opportunities. The project will involve designing an intuitive interface, ensuring seamless integration with Bubble.io, and testing for usability and performance. This initiative will provide learners with practical experience in mobile app development using no-code tools, applying their classroom knowledge to a real-world scenario.

AI-Driven Opportunity Matcher for CAYOP

CAYOP Inc. seeks to enhance its platform by developing an AI-driven recommendation system designed to connect students with professional development opportunities. The project focuses on creating a system that efficiently analyzes student profiles and available opportunities, such as scholarships, internships, and youth council positions, to provide personalized matches. Built on Bubble.io, the platform requires an AI solution capable of processing and analyzing data to generate relevant recommendations. The system should also send curated lists of opportunities to students weekly, increasing their chances of finding suitable matches. This project offers learners the chance to apply their knowledge of AI, data analysis, and web development to create a practical solution that benefits both students and the platform.

Youth Opportunities Database

Cayop is determined to connect youth to latest opportunities (non-formal education or employment). This includes internships, hackathons, student competitions, funding for youth initiatives, and conferences/forums. The main goal of this project is to create a database of youth opportunities, in particular opportunities in the area of student competitions, student hackathons, youth conferences/forum, youth council. Cayop already has a large database with opportunities. However, interns will work to refine the list, and build a larger database of opportunities. Training and continuous guidance will be provided.
